6. His consultations are truthful, his opinion is sublime,
And safety and light are under his banner.

7. He knows the crown does not purely

8. He looks after nations and lets them manage their affairs,

9. The people are content with the system and its people,
That no minister points to the lowly.

17. And the tasbeeh and takbeer arose in place of the sword's clanging after it resounded,
And they performed prayers so they made peace,

18. Except a group that still rebels.
Did they experience your just and excellent rule or

19. Choke on this water, though gentle?
More deserving to remain with his increased misguidance is he who

20. Does not part from delusion in his eyes.
And let everyone who wishes to overpower

21. His guards remain powerless while many lie in wait.
The greatest change with your might is around them,

22. For their corruption, if given respite, is great.
Their killing was not vengeance against them,

23. But expiation for their sins.
They are fuel for their disorder, while

24. Their blood extinguishes the blaze of disorder in oceans.
If shedding the blood of a sinner cleansed

25. His vileness, no sinner or transgressor would remain.
Houran shaken and Macedonia bereaved,

26. While Iraq was warned by a warner.
And Sana'a distanced itself from its debauchery,

27. And Aseer refused the arrogant.

28. The Balkans will not be devoid of evil, even
If its expanses fill with skulls and chests.

29. Whoever disobeys you, though you pardon and forgive,
Let him remain compelled and subjugated.

30. In prison, he is allowed, but if he transgresses,
He is forbidden and prohibited.

31. The honorable one gathered its two shores,
One in Egypt and another in Hejaz, with power.

32. The noble one extended to the mighty one his right hand,
And the supporter hastened to choose the supporter.

33. He is the proof of the pure lineage against the corrupted,
Whom instigation and incitement split apart.

34. Were it not for his access to them, the disobedient would not have obeyed,
Nor would spilled blood have been spared.

35. Oh frequent visitor of a nation every day,
I wish Egypt would return to host and visit you.

36. The Hejaz gave you its good tidings with Mohammed,
After Syria, so does Egypt have a giver of good news?

37. If the happy Nile claps,
Its clapping expresses its love.

38. And if its pyramids rise high and expect,
It is a safe farewell waving to you.

39. Though Muslims differ in their lands,
You alone are their destination.

40. Between me and you are abundance, and yet
My route to you, when I want, is brief.

41. If not for the doubling of shackles,
I would have in every land a home and family.

42. I wish I had wings of a dove, so I would wander
Between fortresses with walls around them.

43. I would see coasts below them with chains,
And above them, I would see eagles soaring.

44. As if they were inhaling the mountains from behind,
With iron clamoring beneath them, melted.

45. If I had the reward of loyalty, I would have
Above the Gulf, a creek and plateau.

46. It suffices me to circle the gardens, and a flower,
And for every bird, a meadow and stream.

47. And greetings from those like the houris
Who passed the righteous angels.

48. Oh House of Othman, peace be upon you,

60. You have resolve, steadfastness, while for the enemy is
The incitement of dissenters, betrayal and falsehood.

61. If they awake discord in every valley,
In every valley is an army victorious.

62. Their mountains bowed to you in awe,
As soft spears and boulders before bowed.

63. And the hearts of the hateful remain
As they were created, overflowing with hatred and boiling.

64. Do their small ones around the den meet
After the roar of the elders terrified?

65. Your armies marched to every formidable one.
I wish I was a captive among the soldiers!

66. I would gift them the best my hands made
And my eloquent, protected tongue would recount.

67. I give the pacts which Esawen

68. An agreement kept and a trust
Protected through which Thabeer sighs.

69. If I am your poet in Egypt,
