3. And you went to Sudan to nurture its saplings
And with good fruits you will return

4. The desert and the cultivated land compete in longing for you

Bridges over it gestured to you and dams

6. And the two coasts extended to you their upbringing
And a countryside in them greeted you, and barren land

7. You took care of it, completing the good of its people
The dignified visited the ailing, in friendship

8. So the faces of the people whitened with joy
With what you wish and want for them

9. So in every highland your rising is a season
And in every plain your return is a feast

10. Even if the messenger of the caravan did not come to them
Mountains would incline to you and be folded in your hand

11. You carried to them benevolent dew from the hand of the King
And you reached the furthest extent of the kingdom and it is lasting

12. And you made him witness among them your procession wherever it went
To it, lightning flashed, and mail circulated

13. And today almost every tribe
Has a state from what was built for Egypt

14. And his sultanate in their expanses became complete
As forefathers had wished for him and ancestors

15. Bonds of brotherhood and causes of neighborhood
Restored the ancient covenant and it is new

16. For they send abundant blessed water
While we are its guards and streams

17. You united the people of the valley on what ennobles it
And magnified the greatest that you built and made pitch black

18. And its parties came to you for your rescue so they met
And between them only Egypt's pacts

19. So each group backs the other
And each leader contends with another

20. And you did not rush with opinion until you supported it
With your might in battle and it is severe

21. So every place has a fortress and refuge
And in every valley leaders and soldiers

22. Your impenetrable valley remained firm and around it
Diverse kingdoms coil and sway

23. All people are equal in their crises
So there are no masters and slaves in distress

24. If a promising night message comes
A threatening one comes in the morning

25. And if the sun rises one hour
Lightning and thunder follow it another hour

26. So there is no obedience on earth but to the evil
That fire and iron decreed between them

27. They became hostile without knowing and disputed the land
Is it to colonize or to dispute and destroy?

28. And I did not know that the sons of Adam
Are eagles and whales and lions

29. And mankind has become cultured
Yet more harmful than the obstinate devil

30. And I fear war in the whole earth
It would be named but the worlds would cease to exist

31. And whoever ignites fires in the living intentionally
Has spent the night for fires while he is fuel

32. And the earth was not prepared for torture and killing
But it was made for prosperous life

33. And God did not create air and below it
Conditions on inhaling it and restrictions

34. And the Creator did not provide sustenance for some
For a tyrant to deprive them, stubborn

35. And no people became prosperous by coercion and harm
But they prospered by good deeds

36. And people's covenants are bindings
Not documents that fold and contracts

37. And if they went gently on earth it would
Stretch its edges to them and increase

38. And if they guaranteed security among themselves
Borders between them and limits would disappear

39. Where can settlements thrive and prosper
If Aad and Thamud wreaked havoc

40. Am I wrong or am I dreaming?
And those wishes are gone and promises

41. So O man of the time whom Egypt's conscience
Rules over it as arbiter and martyr

42. Your ally who you made equal and both of you
Are guided by your beneficial treaty

43. And you by what you arranged in his path
Are watcher over what is determined and ready

44. And it is enough that with Farouq you are
Every good deed's ennobler and magnificent

45. And rule is but the burden of a people you carried
And the most solid is above the sturdy

46. And you are not proud today of them
While you generously give your soul to them

47. And whoever destined the reward for his time
