1. Today is a day of pride and glory
For Muslims in all lands

2. For the King has appeared with a face
Radiant and bright like the rising dawn

3. His smile shines like the night and day
Both doubled in light

4. Now the servants greet his joy
Rejoicing like the glowing moon

5. And now the crowds flock cheerfully
Smiling like flowers in bloom

6. Announcing the sitting of the Sultan of the World
Abdulhamid, the chosen Caliph

7. The heir to the throne from his fathers
The purest from his noble ancestors

8. Lord of armies, ships, and plans
Wise, discreet, and secretive

9. The most generous King of high rank
By consensus and preference

10. He whose Caliphate was given long life by God
And so escaped the desolation of ruins

11. It lived an age with no rest
And with him found stability at last

12. A ruler who dispels disasters with his face
Or opinion or sharp sword

13. And he possesses the awe of leadership
Bestowed by the Mighty Lord

14. If barren stone felt his touch
Water would flow like rivers at his word

15. Or if the full moon gained some of his glory
No cloud could veil its light

16. O brave King, in you
We are safe from the blows of fate!

17. O abundant rain, you who pours
Goodness and makes rain unnecessary

18. O moon who has clarified
The paths of guidance for all who journey

19. O fortress whose pillars
Dazzle the eyes of every danger

20. O lion whose roar melted
The wings of every harmful lion

21. O defender of Islam, in our time
With you we have power and pride

22. And you have honored each peaceful servant
And humiliated each stubborn tyrant

23. And returned the cycles of youth to the nation
With all its many rounds of fate

24. God's army is yours, it is an ocean
Where ships of fire sail and flow

25. It flooded the land and drowned the enemy
Sweeping away those men in its tide

26. Full of every valiant, ambitious conqueror
Whose soul was steeled in war's harsh grinding stone

27. How many an army it broke for the foe, and tore apart
The power of tyrants, shortening their days

28. What delusion made those misguided ones trade guidance for heresy?
Blinded to these traces

29. O Syrians, beware the devil's deception
His empty lies made them stray

30. Do not anger this Imam against you
And beware an evil end, beware!

31. If not for his love of peace, he would destroy you
And leave you as news of the past

32. My Lord, they covet your kingdom
And plot against you on the edge of doom

33. So curb your anger, watching them carefully
Wakeful, let your warning restrain them

34. How my heart longs to be near you
O jewel of the world, most noble abode!

35. No bird sang or lightning flashed
But I thought of your family, so pure

36. May the Lord of the Worlds greet you with abundant
Torrents of His endless generosity

37. O you who mixed the cup of life with his wisdom
Saving the servants from bitter misfortune

38. These are the fruits of a boy raised in your meadow
Watered by streams of flowing youth

39. Taking loyalty as his motto, hoping through it
To attain God's favor, free soul that he is

40. In each limb a tongue speaks
Spreading thanks to you throughout all lands

41. You released him in this bliss so he released
Mellow tones in these verses

42. Without the birds' comfort the dawn would not charm
With wonders of song at daybreak

43. May this crown remain bright above your brow
Inspiring awe and dignity

44. And may your Lord restore this holiday
Bringing your subjects to the height of joy
