Not a contagious disease, so he was restrained

7. The jealous challenged you though defeated
And the wrathful opposed you though weakened

8. And he who claimed excellence went astray
His passion and sadness made him sit

9. And whoever wished to sell the country in exchange for unjust rule failed miserably - evil is the price
His comrades almost abandoned him in despair and avoided the idol

10. He did politics so badly that people saw
His politics as the worst of professions

11. Can one who steals money in the name of sacrifice
One day be trusted with a state?

12. You are the healer of all matters
So can you heal rancor?

13. Manage the peace of the fever and await
Its consequences after averting strife

14. You whose right is to be honored
And whose duties and traditions have stood

15. You and your fellow reformers
Are Egypt's guarantee of a good fate
