1. We are amazed by Japan,
And its rapid progress in civilization,

2. And we wish the Russians to fail,
Lest they become deluded.

3. We fear the tyranny of the yellow peoples,
Over the white peoples after victory,

4. As they tyrannized in ancient times,
And overwhelmed the horizons of countries.

5. Perhaps we will be tested by them, the religions,
And our crosses be replaced by idols,

6. As the Islamic nation was tested by them,
When they lost their religion to strife,

7. And surrendered to the state of illusions,
And abandoned the light for the darkness,

8. Until they settled among them and they knew,
The law of Islam and then became Muslims,

9. And they left Baghdad as believers,
Appreciating this religion.

10. We saw today what we saw yesterday,
Of misery, turmoil and adversity.

11. If the Zoroastrians overcome the Christians,
They will become supporters of every Muslim.

12. And the doctrine which brought victory,
Is worthier to them than the one commanding forgiveness,

13. And confirmed religions in hearts,
What the instinct of nations accepted,

14. And where is the ascetic religion from them, if it prevailed,
Its followers would trample it down.
