1. I congratulate Uthman's exalted throne
With this new victory and conquest

2. And I hope after that war for peace
With submission of each stubborn tyrant

3. And I swear this king is most deserving
Of the burdens of the caliphate and eternity

4. So who will facilitate for me to travel
To the field of those soldiers

5. So I can walk in it with my clothes as banners
My face radiant, my chant blessed

6. I shake with it the highlands and valleys
As the sides of lions shake

7. O sons of Uthman is there among you a martyr
For I am your most precious martyr

8. Mine is the heart that did not live except
Upon these covenants and promises

9. I love you and yearn for you
My longing almost makes me fly if not for my shackles
