Congratulations and veneration to you

2. You are the best representative in Egypt and deputy
The elder and the great confidential

3. It is enough for you that you are the perfect man
In what you want and aspire to

4. You are in its war the first pioneer
And in its peace the wise and kind

5. You are the one who endured the night of the blessed revolution
With blood, siege, and inferno

6. When the enemy marched angrily
You possessed it while being forbearing

7. You have no need to be rewarded for your efforts
With words, while you are Moses the Interlocutor

8. And from the light and gems in the history
Of your homelands is your recorded name

9. The night of honors has descended upon your club
For it the cities, villages and borders

10. And it is the feast of jihad, more loyal
In its commemoration of you, the dear time

11. And the souls rested from nonsense
And from what stirred up the fruitless debate

12. Every era has a share of the nation
In anger and consent, allotted

13. And it is misery for the mistaken sinner
And it is bliss for the virtuous correct

14. If men hit the mark, the ruler would agree
On goodness and the condemned

15. And it is impossible to repeal the decree
After its commanded matter has been sealed

16. This is the tradition of politics in Egypt
So there is no oppressor or oppressed

17. And if the people quarrel with transgressors
The victor and defeated are equal

18. And the cowardly, stingy with himself, and
The oppressive of the people, is iniquitous and condemned

19. And seeking power is not like seeking
Sustenance, pleading and deprived

20. And meeting enemies is easier than
The sorrow and worries of parting from companions

21. O son of the family that adorned the earth
As the heaven is adorned with stars

22. And the new of the time praises them
As the old time praises

23. Your successful party is the party of
Truth inspired by the honorable and virtuous

24. And providence continued with it until
The leader attained what he wanted from it

25. Every party and every party leader
Is in the nation your intimate friend

26. Who was an adversary in your morals
Or who was a foe in your elevation

27. You did good in your privacy so it extended
And the private returned and it is public

28. You are the one who united souls on land
And pleased its consultation and arbitration

29. And determination to see the people around you
While animosity between them has ceased

30. You have a nature that sees no need for the rich
And finds cure in it the sick

31. From you I have good conduct and courtesy
And from me to you wise rhetoric

32. No procession came to you with my poetry
So the breeze conveyed it to you from me

33. And my companions conveyed it cordially
And the handsome orator recited it from me

34. You have an east and a west belonging to me
While we both reside in every heart

35. Your sound opinion met my opinion
So the region met the region

36. It is enough for myself and yourself that I am
With your wishes the expert knowledgeable

37. And what good I seek more for you
Is for the people and what I perpetuate

The diseased with motives want with tongues

39. A cure while having venom in the bellies
They will keep dreaming of what has passed
