1. You have the allegiance that no one has concealed
And no nation or country has been without it

2. You have ruled with justice that does not bend with desire
Nor does your sound opinion transgress

3. You have proceeded with a safeguarded kingdom, relying
On the Quran, warding off tribulations from it

4. As if a vigilant lion guards his cubs
Until you have raised above the stars for it

5. The pillars of resolve and wisdom
So it has become unassailable, guarded by the eye of God

6. Even when its guards slumber
And people are of two kinds: a constrained enemy

7. And one hoping for an easy life under your hands
So there are turns for the adversaries in which they roamed

8. And turns for the loyal ones in which they prospered
If you wish, you would give this land its greens

9. And if you want, it would burn with evil
You have not been vengeful except for God

10. And have not oppressed except the spiteful people
You have not opened any kingdom for other than religion

11. That you saw was straying from the path of good
You have revived it, restoring its strength

12. So it stands extending in the world and roams
Yours are the armies that have relieved many worries

13. As if they are clouds clustered in the sky
God guides their shots, supports them

14. With angels in their raids giving them supplies
Relying on the divine covenant on the day of battle

15. And drawing numbers from their faith
Yours is the banner whose crescent has attained glory

16. So no hostile hands can reach its loftiness
In its flapping there is joy for those in its shade

17. And awe in its folds for the enemy like an abyss
Yours are the great fleets like towering camels

18. That sail and thunder around them stirs up foam
Were it not for your security, the sea would have erupted

19. With their fire and the land and ice melted
Yours are the domes that rise lofty in the sky

20. With soldiers standing guard, watching over them
And in your majesty there is light for the caliphate

21. That people now see as proof of what they believed
If the bright stars could dive down in yearning

22. And take the place of your crown clustered around it
My lord your feast has come in auspices

23. Bringing the desert joy like they were accustomed to
The universe seemed most splendid to it

24. And days and eternity summoned all their beauty
The earth is dazzlingly luminous and verdant

25. Clad in youthful finery and cool silk
It struts joyfully for all like a coquettish beloved

26. Adorned with necklaces and anklets
And the crowds crammed under your throne

27. Were not constrained by your lofty doors
Hearts were healed of ardent longing by what

28. They experienced of your great advent and witnessed
As if they had drunk a soothing draft and were elated

29. And attained nothing but your eternal spring
O owner of righteous deeds and lord of hands

30. That number cannot encompass
Greetings and prayer with which we seek

31. To inspire joy and love that we profess
You came while diverse sects split the people

32. Their ways lost in their ignorance you guided
So they surrendered to you when you gave them guidance

33. And clung to the bond of the covenant united
You warded off the multitudes of enemies so they escaped

34. While you alone on the battlefield stood your ground
They had sworn oaths but broke them when facing

35. The battle and patience and resolve took flight
And they cried out so a horde of delusions came to them

36. In which there was despair and gloom
You defeated their cunning and foiled their betrayal

37. And plotted against their plot with diligence
Why do you care for people who have strayed

38. And grown arrogant and when you were made regent denied
Can a father harm sons who brim

39. With love for him while others disobeyed?
The guilty outcast does not lose hope in you

40. If his shackles and jail keep him confined
O house of Osman, be gentle with the adversaries

41. And do not bare swords at them for they have desisted
Jealousy made them plot against your good fortune

42. But that envy only harmed themselves
In their hearts is a sickness of hating you

43. And in their eyes an ailment from your light
They will remain in this misery until

44. They lose hope and you see them all subside
Gently O Turks in conquering the lands

45. Is it not for the sake of your grand ideals?
Were it not for you the religion would not have its proof

46. Nor would its remaining glory stand straight
Abdul Hamid sincere loyalty is yours so listen

47. To ongoing praise and reward those who extol
Though your kingdom is beaming in its adornment

48. I am a bird singing joyfully in it
God will fulfill in this world that has smiled

49. On Muslims through your hands what was promised
So rejoice O Muslims and look forward
