1. Your homeland was once a sanctuary,
So return to it with hope and aspiration.

2. It is a cure in sickness, solace in adversity,
Security in fear, support in stumbling.

3. If not for your struggle traveling restless,
I would have complained to you of wandering and travel.

4. You rise early to serve the Caliph dutifully,
And you are preoccupied with the highest aspirations.

5. After what you have experienced and witnessed,
Do you think the enemies consider it feeble?

6. They claimed he was ill for days, but
The meeting for recovery was proof.

7. Describe to the masses how he strengthened his throne
In the two easts and erected the fleet,

8. And advise servants who claim evil
To restore the Euphrates to the Nile.

9. They quaked with war, anticipating it
And expected devastation and murder.

10. They assumed the number of defenses as if
Your protection to them was entrusted.

11. And they sought help from the boastful ones to sever
Between consciences, passions and transform them.

12. They said, "He has sought our help against his sultan
Lest he extend a hand to it elongated."

13. Will you seek help from your guest laden with gifts
And the Most High Lord is more noble?

14. The Turks bare the sword for the battle site
Which will not benefit the victors at all

15. If they do not bring ships to you
They have made their bridges channels and paths.

16. Is there sedition in harmony and cooperation
That would overwhelm a neighbor or guest?

17. How is the granter of security as he claimed
Now seeing a rebel in every crevice?

18. He would persist in transgression if he saw
From his people provocation and intimidation,

19. Or if he felt secure from a gang who frowned at him
Witnesses refusing stubbornness justly.

20. And a civilized orientalist volunteer
Alert to the safe country a sincere friend.

21. He is the gentle, calm one, if only
They would appoint him able to be effective.

22. If not for the patience of the steadfast on tomorrow,
They would have wished return to the first nights.

23. They would not excuse the experienced ruler as unjust
Though they often excused the ignorant unjust.

24. From life their awareness of their wounds
They complain until it ends and passes.

25. From power their delirium in their night
They grope for your polished day.

26. Perhaps they filled the country with seasons
After filling the country with wailing.

27. They are not startled by the stranger, even if they saw
The sword of the relative bared against them.

28. God has disciplined us with His greatest creation
In deed and sent in the kingdoms a rumor.

29. They and we differ in laws,
Natures, disputes and principles.

30. Entrust them all to the Almighty Fate so that we
Do not lack change and transformation.

31. And if you intended for our independence,
Prudence is not to seek haste.

32. It is impossible for our salvation if we are not
Nobler in souls and minds than them.

33. And we have aspired to it proudly,
So elevate over generations this generation.

34. It is the goal of diverse hopes, its paths are blessed,
Felicity to one who made peace a path.

35. How good they are when they become friendly and we see
Nothing but affection connected to them.

36. If they mention our obedience, we mention to them
A lesson the country received great.
