1. My Master, may your guidance in fasting
Be proof of your kindness to mankind.

2. They followed you in it as they followed
You as the Imam to aid the religion.

3. You have a call on earth which cries out
Against the unsheathing of its swords.

4. Your war booty, O Ibn Tawfiq,
Is like your booty in peace.

5. Your herald of good news was welcomed
By every people and community.

6. And intimacy has grown between the two faiths
Upon love for you.

7. And security in the lights is more excellent
After fear in darkness.

8. You purified your kingdom in the nights
Of the month with abundant favors.

9. In your wealth, the destitute shared
And in your drink and food.

10. You clothe them in robes which
Have what the seasons have of permanence.

11. Their horizons shine like the light
Of the garden at the first drops of rain.

12. And your pleasure is to meet the flock
In comfort and with a smile.

13. O reviver of the two feasts in the
Two regions, may you remain for every year,

14. The foremost of kings in absolute
Decrees, who prayed and fasted,

15. And loved most what they celebrated,
That order replace chaos.
