1. The faithful have accomplished today what they wished
The arranger of destinies in both worlds

2. I anticipated what was sought for the country
And what I sought came to be

3. Nothing changed the state by its judgment
Except it changed the rulers

4. And time circulated among the people of eras
Both those taking their time and those in a hurry

5. Men who passed and men who came
And in the kingdom there are others like them

6. And fertile Egypt with blessings
Is fertile with the bounty of youths

7. For each young man among them there is an appointment
Yet in the course they converge

8. And I am not one who precedes events
Even if I know what they are doing

9. And I am not randomly spreading desires
But rather I am the most just of calculators

10. And indeed for whoever shouldered the burden
Of his trusts, I am the most truthful of supporters

11. And among the people there is an objecting watcher
Counting the stars over those staying up

12. Wanting perfection from both worlds
In loyalty to Egypt, and they are capable

13. And nothing is nobler than good deeds
For those who want to satisfy the usurpers
