1. O sun's eye, the best of what the ladies built
In your field is this mosque,

2. Between gardens and towers they erected it
Adorned for the One of beautiful praise

3. Blessings accompanied them at their hands
Blessings for Him and hands racing hands

4. My devotion to God ended and a great gift

5. The richest of devoted worshippers and greatest of those
Who settled in adorned palaces

6. Whoever mentions his Lord in a desolate
Desert sees angels gathering there

7. In Islam's protection whoever is called and
Sent to this festival and dispatched

8. They witnessed the sun rise after its setting
And remote lands rebuilt and renew

9. The preachers compete in proclaiming what they hope
For Egypt, triangular and unified

10. Whoever accuses the innocent has erased
Accusations of its settled affectionate resident
