The burden of afflictions with the suffering people

51. If not for you, the enemy would not have taken its bliss
And allowed every traitor control

52. The country would have been rich without this misery
If you were sincere in secret and public

54. As government is justice in the hands of a king

With the past tyranny and aggression

62. As God thwarted what your souls
Concealed and declared of assumptions and judgment

63. Enough the dispersement you faced after your
Revolution from family and homelands

64. Ask your Lord for forgiveness, perhaps you
Will attain forgiveness and satisfaction from Him

65. And O my country, whenever I look
My eyes see no soldiers or helpers

66. And the foreign oppressor's might disturbs
My soul and tears shedding hurts my eyelids

67. O longing to see you safe
From it, O endless pity

68. We obey none but Abdülhamid
And accept no prince but your Abbas II

69. There I will chant poems refreshed
Congratulating, delighting the world with my tunes

70. O Egypt, may your faithful Nile last and no
Branch in you dry except thriving
