Like sugar dissolving in sips of wine.

Like precious gems cast before your comfort.

10. When you visited Dar Al Uloom,
Its knowledge shone in your glow.

11. Poetry blossomed, scattering rhythmic tones,
Like spring scattering flowers.

12. My homeland saw in you an image of Egypt,
Where art, glory and genius arise.

13. Mother of Hejaz, Yemen and Syria,
Mother of high-minded, noble souls.

14. Arab unity her banner raised high,
In her hands the ships of their hopes.

15. God established her as the Arab home,
Building her with brilliant stars.

16. A land where knowledge grows,
Where glory, sublimity and pride are born.

17. Her Nile an eternal hymn to God,
Flowing by transient nights.

18. God's care protects her from enemies' arrows,
Fired by hands aflame with rage.

19. O son of Egypt, where Arab virtues unite,
And free souls congregate.

20. Your knowledge spreads faith throughout the world,
Like brilliant rays spreading light.

21. You journey serving Islam, truth and unity,
Tying bonds between hearts sincere.

22. O Azzam, you are a conscience that stirs
Arab hearts and awakens spirits.

23. An envoy building unity, igniting insights,
Calling nations to unite in freedom.

24. Unity stronger than all foes.
In Arab unity lies eternal, defiant glory.

25. The Arabs are one nation, united
By language, blood and origin.

26. Once they shook the world,
Splitting the darkness with gleaming swords.

27. With pride they trod on Persian crowns,
And marched upon heads of Caesars.

28. So draw, my nation, from your glorious past,
And build the most noble present.

29. Glory disdains to meet its sons
In hands that seize or imprison.

30. Aspire, my nation, to every glory,
And rise with the vigor of early dawn.

31. O envoy of free solidarity, you voiced
My deepest passions in verse.

32. My soul melted with love for Arabs,
Composing a song of inspiration and flowers.

33. A hymn pouring out my feelings,
My essence, my heartbeat, my inner secrets.
