With blame that chokes the soul's breath

2. Yet the people could not restrain themselves, the answer
Returned to us though they were mute

3. Fearing a relapse into their malady
And the evil of sickness is the relapse of sickness

4. And demons from Persia became
Hovering around me like flies swarming

5. So many flies of passion died
By the breath of disdain when it sneezes
