2. Claims ignorantly that he is brilliant,
Ordaining the decrees of his decrees.

3. To guide nations by his calendars,
Drawing from the tributaries of his people.

4. The half of March is his appointed time,
At the year's end, his cycle done.

5. His calculation, the symbol, his dating,
An abstract of the beauty of his dreams.

6. But he is more truthful in his judgments
Than the rubbish of his dreams.

7. Whoever doubts the truth of his lies,
Doubts too the truth of his Islam.
