1. Dress me with flowing water,
Quench my thirst until I sleep,
١. أَلبِسِ الماءَ المُداما
وَاِسقِني حَتّى أَناما
2. Be generous amongst people,
And you will lead amongst them,
٢. وَأَفضي جودَكَ في النا
سِ تَكُن فيهِم أَماما
3. Cursed be the miser brother,
Even if he prays and fasts.
٣. لَعَنَ اللَهُ أَخا البُخ
لِ وَإِن صَلّى وَصاما
