From his land though near to his ear

9. Vanquisher of the valiant, his armor
True and loyal to its links

10. As a tool of war his resolve
And shelter, hardening its embrace

11. Shattering the spears, his power
While the swords fail their sharpness

12. When his eyelids flash
Like lightning flickering in its cloud

13. The eyes that glimpsed them will not neglect
To drain the soul from their bodies

14. All with souls are indebted to him
And fear approaching his ways

15. When his time has passed
And the days of his life are done

16. There remains of him a hole
A loyal companion to its seam

17. He made his prey within
Like a bird trapped in its nest

18. Then he crept up and pounced
Not heeding their cries

19. He came seeking his prey
But they were wary and took heed

20. The hunters gathered together
From his chin to his waist

21. With arrows surrounding him
As a shrouded body is wrapped
