1. If my stances and gatherings were to testify,
On the day of dispute when the waters of death surge,

2. Among youths whom people have not met the like of,
Since they came to be, nor will they find if they are lost,

3. Neighbours of virtue, orbits of sublimity, paths of piety,
Place of guidance, pillar of prohibition, sturdy pillar,

4. As if they are in people's breasts hearts,
That feel what they erred in and what they intended,

5. They show people what their consciences conceal,
As if they found therein what they found,

6. They pointed to the inner world with its outer,
And knew the absent through the witnessed,

7. Rising places of truth, no darkness befell,
Except that among them for it is a guiding star.
