1. And its terraces are the light that shone without
The stars of Pleiades and Virgo and Pisces

2. And when the blossoms reached their abundant branches
And leaned where they do not reach the ground in a month

3. It has white chambers that dawn laughs
And wraps them in its light at the peak of glory

4. Like crescents they rode
On pillars counting in the essence of the full moon

5. As if their domes were measured from ruby
On every groomed, knotted sadr tree

6. As if the palaces of earth after their completion
Were projections of atoms, more hidden in appearance than particles

7. And sights spread from them to the extent of gazing
With birds, beasts, and flowers

8. And stranger than its hidden places are the caves
Where the cold sleeps during the rage of heat

9. It whispers with its most covert secret without concealing
Its echo, so the secret in it is more hidden than the overt

10. As if one who hides speech in its seclusion
At the softest voices, sings at a string

11. Dimmed at dawn, adjoining the Highest, sparkling glory
Glowing without sun upon it or moon

12. And excellent are its green plants around it
And its white rivers that flow beneath it

13. You see the tall ones spreading their branches
Crowns among them from the abundance of plenty

14. As if a craftsman crafted above its branches
From fiery gold, grape bunches from dates

15. Changing three conditions for them
Molded jewelry, essence, and freshness

16. First pearls, then becoming emerald
Returning to corals after plucking chrysolite

17. And you may crave from it a drink sweeter than
A longing lover's plea for the beloved of dignity

18. And from fragrances in the branches as if they are
Cheeks of maidens behind their green veils

19. Every bird with blushed feathers sings in it
Dotted with saffron, chanting, green-chested

20. To every doe who lost her kohl
Embroidered on the cheeks, belly, and back

21. When she pioneers with the warbling of her song
It makes you forget the thou-ing of the lover without consort

22. And whichever melodious bleating ewe you wish
To the flutist's melody and tone

23. And a hoarder with two dirhams in her chin
That do not disappear whether she buys or sells

24. It is clad in a shawl and lent to it there
The raven of water secretly for a wage

25. And every wonder in it whose like
Was never seen of birds, serpents, dates or moons

26. An inheritance of fathers who were succeeded by
Caliphs of flourishing kingdoms, brilliant flowers

27. God willed only to perfect his magnificent construction
By which the utmost gratitude was fulfilled

28. Named after the chosen Prophet and his companion
And the seal of the Prophecy inscripted in the Remembrance
