1. Do not forget the well-bound notebook which
Is the ultimate goal

2. Alas that its hidden knowledge
Was attained by others than me in this age

3. And increase my lowliness as you have promised me
For your promise is guaranteed by ten proofs

4. It is not impossible that I will reach a status
To which I was added before, along with Shimr

5. Indeed, those in Allah's mercy were concerned about me
For this and what the son of Shimr reached in the grave
