1. Beware of estrangement, if you have the power,
The young man dies in his love when deserted.

2. But when his beloved turns away from him,
No doubt on that day he will be buried.

3. I saw the Commander of the Faithful, Muhammad,
In his face the full moon is seen.

4. Magnanimous, as if the sun casts its rays
Upon creation through him when he appears.
