1. Praise be to You, O Allah, O You Who has decreed
Submission for the soul in the decree of destiny

2. Praise be to You O Allah, O Most Merciful, O
Omnipotent, O You Who rose over the Throne

3. With praise we seek pardon and pleasure
O You Who forgives when asked to forgive

4. O You Who veils sins of those who commits wrong
O You Who accepts repentance from those who disobey

5. O You Who knows the secrets and whispers and what
Is hidden of secrets and what is underneath the ground

6. O You sees from beneath the hem of darkness
The ants’ fingers on the deaf rock

7. O Creator of creation Who counts them and Who
Knows what they conceal and what they disclose and what

8. O Owner of the kingdom, O You of majesty, O
You of subjugation, O You of honor, O You of greatness

9. O You Who relieves worries that weakens strength
O You Who cures illness that wears out the bones

10. O You Who forgave Adam when he disobeyed
Then chose him, granted him, and guided him

11. O You through Whom Nuh survived on the ship
When water overflowed the highest of heights

12. O You Who rescued His friend when he sought refuge
Seeking reward from Him from the enemy’s scheme

13. O You Who ransomed Ishaq with slaughter while he
Was to be slaughtered with nothing for his ransom

14. O You Who rescued Lut while darkness donned its gown
With his family, and the night spread its cover

15. O You Who granted Ya’qub the good news, which
Cured his eyes when he said “it’s possible”

16. O You Who granted Yusuf honor, wealth
And protection after worry from what had occurred

17. O You Who destroyed ‘Aad with clamorous wind
And delivered Hud with the deliverance of the pleased

18. O You Who saved Salih from the scream
Of preference, and destroyed those of Thamud who transgressed

19. O You Who rescued the companion of the fish from grief
When he supplicated in the darkness of the sea

20. O You Who cured Ayyub from harm through which
When he called upon Him, his wealth was returned

21. O You through Whom Shu’ayb succeeded and survived
When the scream destroyed Madyan and those who returned

22. O You Who guided Musa to the fire predetermined
For him to find guidance at the fire

23. O You through Whom Musa survived from all
That Fir'awn mustered when he tyrannized

24. O You to Whom Dawud submitted, so he attained
Pardon and pleasure when he repented

25. O You Who granted King Sulayman so to him submitted
The birds and the beasts of prey

26. O You to Whom the wind was subservient that
The wind blew gently by His command

27. O You Who heard the call
of Zakariyya and granted Yahya – the best youth

28. O You Who granted judgement to Yahya in his childhood
And favored him with care and piety

29. O You Who gave Elias mercy
As innate knowledge was divinely bestowed unto him

30. O You in Whom Shu'ayb and Jeremiah took refuge
O You Who restored for Joshua his memory

31. O You Who granted Elijah and al-Yasa' patience over
Their people, through which they gained praise

32. O You Who raised ‘Isa to Yourself when
The enemies harboured harm and hurt for him

33. O You Who protected Ahmad in the cave as
You foiled the scheme of those darkness clouded

34. Through their status I call upon You, my Lord, so do not
Cut off my hopes in You, without ties

35. Through the grace of every name the prophets called You
Therein is mystery hidden, secrets kept

36. O You Who extends His Hands with mercy, O
You Who apportions rizq between the worlds

37. O You Who answers call of distressed, here
The servant stands at the door of hope

38. O my Master, the servant has nothing
But Your noble door, O Lord of highest heaven

39. O my Master, I’m Your sinful servant whom
Ignorance misguided into returning to sin

40. O my Master, beautify me with the veil with which
You veiled the unseen secrets wherein it is hidden

41. O my Master, protect me in myself, my
Religion, family, wealth, and pilgrimage

42. O my Master, grant me the best of what You possess
And increase Your bounty upon me with pardoning sins

43. O my Master, make me successful and guide me to
What is best for me by decree content

44. O my Master, make me love those whom You love
By grace, and ennoble me with loving the Chosen One

45. O my Master, help me to show patience for
What I face of wounds of sorrow

46. O my Master, hardship has weakened my skin
And prison deprived my eyes of sleep

47. O my Master, show me safety from You, so I
Do not fear enemies harming me even if they try

48. O my Master, deliver me from prison in
The best state, and clothe me with robes of honor

49. By the status of best of creation, Taha the Chosen
by the family, companions; guiding moons

50. By the elite, those by whom neared purity
By saints, those for whom from You is loyalty

51. By Decisive Scripture, Torah, Gospel
Scriptures, secrets of prophesy

52. By the light of Essence in the Essence of the unseen
By disclosure of utmost kindness in no “how” no “where”

53. By the Throne, the mat, above the heavens,
What’s inside earth, underneath the ground

54. O Lord, by names we call You, by traits
And attributes, O succour of the worlds

55. O Lord, we surely call You as
You ordered, O Lord, so accept the call

56. O Lord, if we call other than You, none
Answers our call but the returning echo

57. O Lord, to You we complain of our
State, O You to Whom all complain

58. O Lord, matters straitened around us and
Strength has weakened for us, no might no power

59. O Lord, enemies plotted evil
So foil their wicked scheme, may it be destroyed

60. O Lord, Your enemies oppressed
The community of Your beloved, Taha the Chosen

61. O Lord, calamities that darkened the nation
In its lands, its darkness covers gloam

62. O Lord, so turn it away as You will
And send our enemies tribulation

63. O Lord, grant us relief from it, for indeed
We gained from disturbing us weariness

64. O Lord, if this hardship stays with us
Prolonging its spread in lengthy course

65. O Lord, let not enemies gloat over us O
Most hopeful when hopes are to be attained

66. O You Who subdues tyrants, vanquishes aggressors
Like ‘Aad, Thamud and Saba

67. O Lord, none remains for us as victors
But You, O You of firm grasp, honor, might

68. O Lord, worry and grief with us intensifies
Prison made us deaf, chains grew long

69. O Lord, ease after hardship You promised
So bestow loyalty in fulfilling

70. O Lord, You accustom us to kindness from You
So be true to Your habits, O Treasure of Giving

71. O Lord, we have none but You as refuge, O You
From whom relief in times of distress is sought

72. O Lord, on us the breach widened without
Mending, and space is strait though vast

73. O Lord, grant us relief by which we
Escape breadth of worry and narrow circumstance

74. O Lord, patience is bitter in taste though
Sweetest of fruits it bears if patiently borne

75. How impatient is man and how resolute
In seeking water when assailed by thirst

76. We by our world are travelers in night’s gloom
And in morning men thank time passed by

77. Man between misguidance and guidance
Seeks so either for bliss or misery

78. May the striver persist reciting
That not but what he worked for can man attain

79. So by his world man presented or held back
His efforts shall indeed be seen

80. What have I to do with world by which I seek wealth?
No riches but richness of heart from it is wealth

81. What have I to do with abode all harm
Damned - I have no she-camel there nor wish

82. That which of its wealth has delighted me has come and gone
Neither gladdens nor saddles me what has passed

83. It suffices of it wellness of religion and pilgrimage
As all game lies in confines of Lord’s land

84. Youth blames Time foolishly, unaware
That Time but morn and eve all the same

85. If the youth attains not his wishes
Let him recite verses of one who said: Not all

86. Can he with past days take heed?
They passed as beacons of gloom

87. Did he see how unto them came decay ?
Oh would that he knew! Has blindness afflicted his eye?

88. The soul excuses its desires though
Its excuse when illness defeats cure is nil

89. Where are the vanished who reigned and ruled the land
They warn although they warnings did deny

90. Realized I all to perishing fates
Even perishing perishes; only God remains

91. O Inheritor of earth and whoso therein
To resurrect them at Gathering without doubt

92. O Allah, plant in one whose heart
Contains vestige of mercy our deliverance

93. And send blessings, O Lord, upon
Your beloved Chosen, by all names called sublime

94. Muhammad, noblest spirit for heaven
Honored messenger to tread upon this earth

95. And upon his family, companions, loved ones, and
Helpers, supporters - guiding full moons

96. And those who follow them of virtue’s folk and those
Thereafter of the God-fearing ones

97. And whoever by him mighty became Islam and whoever
For religion of truth was sanctuary

98. Most splendid greeting sans limit
Purest benediction sans end

99. Dawn glowed, night waned, and sunlight
Of morn arose in risen horizon

100. Birds in leaves of refuge trilled praising them
Expressing thereby fragrance of their name

101. Sun never set nor night darkened
Nor star nor sunbeam dawned

102. Nor lightning blazed in highest climb
By which rain clouds watered, gave them life

103. I will praise You, O Lord, for what You decreed
