1. Time has fulfilled our happiness with what it promised
So we have never lacked its generous hand

2. It took the reins of glory, honoring its master
Thus it was among those who sought righteousness

3. It continued to offer congratulations in our dwellings
So our life returned to comfort after hardship

4. Whoever does not live in comfort with what
All people live, let him die suppressed

5. The bringer of good news has arrived, so rejoice
For the good we have through him cannot be counted

6. O happy is he whose patience has affirmed
What made us happy, and loss to him who denied

7. Joy in it has adorned the present world with fine garments
And with it the exalted realms have been perfumed forever

8. I saluted the coming one who revived hearts with what
He enlivened, and so death and sorrow died

9. The mercies of the Sultan of Existence were generous to us
With a return that set good action as its custom

10. So we were flooded with the outpouring of his favors, though
We were ways in this world worn threadbare

11. O, may he have wellbeing, for through him people succeeded
And God set right all that was corrupt

12. We would plead in supplication for him
And all who made effort found what they sought

13. Until dawn broke, joys for the noble ones, and erased
The night of misery, showing us new gladdening

14. Through him, from an advisor who only advises us
With righteous action, for which he is praised

15. My covenant with him - wherever his concern might be
With his justice he still watches over sheep and lion

16. O he is a support whose virtues are narrated to us
In accounts of grace that have a verified chain

17. Alexander the Resolute, his wisdom makes him needless
Of aid from his Aristotles

18. He manages affairs with sound opinion and fierce valor
So he does not cease to make effort

19. He won integrity in his judgments, and soared on high
Adorning the heights, and took the lead

20. If the furious events appeared, he tracked them
With arrows of integrity that did not stop shooting

21. He is the expert in people's affairs, so the light
Of his insight always remains burning

22. The spirit of noble qualities - it has not ceased to be joined with him
And the soul, doubtless, harmonizes with the body

23. He contains perfection - so if you surveyed his domain
You would look upon an ocean of dew from him and clear guidance

24. Beloved to humankind, their love for him does not fail
You see their love for him as creed and faith

25. And so it is - whoever God loves, He makes beloved to us
So we were among the happy through him

26. Chaste words that contain purity in their meaning
Cups of congratulations were brought round to the noble ones joyfully

27. So they sipped - born from us, though not begotten
And your lofty court turned towards felicitations

28. As was its custom, with the honor of your noble arrival
Truly, your return was a feast of joy and gladdening

29. And the best return is as reported and foretold
If not for your coming back, O sun of perfection, persistence

30. Or patience or composure would not have remained with us
So shine forever, O sun that has no setting

31. And blindness in whoever envied it
