1. The gardens of bliss in Yemen have blossomed
Its roses have delighted the hearts

2. And Damascus, the jewel of Syria, has revived
When the breeze of bliss made its trees green again

3. The dawn of bliss has brightened it
With tidings of joy beyond counting

4. And at the rising of joys on the horizon of bliss
The full moon of sublime realms appeared radiant

5. An arrival bearing goodness, O the best arrival
To a country exalted, though long dormant

6. O ocean of abundant and perfect knowledge
With hands pouring clear dew rapidly

7. It is the outspread comfort, the comfort where
Bounties and existence excel each other

8. God has appointed you a Master, by whom
The highest rank has reached its zenith, its glory manifested

9. Your glories are attributed, for you
Are adorned by a full moon of your features

10. If the people of glory are counted, you are its pillar
And if the people of merit are counted, you are its chief

11. O you who came and people gained through you
A blessing from God that increased all people

12. May God protect you, having raised
The banner of congratulations and promptly hoisted

13. In a new year in which bliss has arrived
And through which people find relief from distress

14. When the gentle breeze blows from the hill of purity
We shall offer it what would please its hospitality

15. It reminded us of the covenant with Hejaz, which
Despite the distances, we never forgot its bond

16. We are the people God has specially favoured
With the noblest being in existence, abundant its bounty

17. We have the Kaaba of nobility, the sanctuary of guidance
To which pilgrims travel safely, in crowds

18. May the rider of its pilgrims, the unique
Commander of armies, the brave lion lead them this year

19. A prince who by his command the noblemen travel
As its stallions roared, its lions crouched

20. To tend to the rights of people openly
With hands pouring clarity, while its envious slept

21. And continued to govern it with upright opinion
And strong resolute determination to rule it

22. Until the neck of its hopes wears the collar of bliss
And safety returns in peace to celebrate its feast

23. And when returning to the sanctuary, it recites near the roses
