1. O You who transcends having a son or daughter
And has granted me all benefit from Him

2. Divert from me, my God, the harm of what returns
O You whose bounties upon me are beyond count

3. And whose gifts grow beyond number
I call upon You, my Lord, while enemies lie in wait for me

4. Seeking to do me evil, and calamities befall me
O You through whom is my salvation, while my soul is departing

5. Never in my time has an affliction befallen me
