1. The gazelles of Ramah peacefully graze
Piercing hearts that grew pains and aches

2. Or are those her eyes that judged us
And with deprivation, ruled our minds

3. They conquer with glances, arrows of their eyelids
Their arrows more fatal than fate's limited time

4. Of all the beauties in their veils, whenever
She stands, swaying her hips and figure

5. She passed by, her jewelry ringing
And so ring the doves in the branches

6. And a flock's commotion within my heart
With her love, her blames on me multiplied

7. Passion became her prisoner, just as
My passion among people became hers

8. My soul craved her, fervently and longingly
And for long my love has been infatuated

9. I have not forgotten the night her beauty's specter
Visited at dawn, while eyes were asleep

10. They accused us of immorality, those malicious people
Indeed, their suspicions are but illusions

11. Who can bring back the joyful times in encampments
And eras of companionship with no end to its longevity

12. Greet the living one, those eras, for they
Are loyal to my covenant, and time is their lad

13. Where the abodes are crescent shaped prospects
Dressed by their celebration in perfected beauty

14. Where the gardens have intoxicating rose petals
For leisure - beautiful is their place and stay

15. Where the gardens stared at us, fascinated
With intimacy, blossoms and flowers in their prime

16. Where the breeze conveyed to us the passion’s tale
Her gossiper spreading her secret

17. Where the life has furnished its spring’s carpet
And the format of its square is complete

18. My Lord, how many diseased have been cured
By your grace, their illnesses remedied

19. I have not sensed sweeter fragrance than her scent
Unless the trusted one praises her protector

20. The sun of rule, its full moon leads the way
The sword of glory, its armor clanks

21. Noble in the honor of his rank, the highest positions
Raised above the stars' orbit

22. Tell the viewer to rarely
Let the prey escape his snare

23. The positions refused to abandon their people
So they are not degraded from their stand

24. The ranks refused to abandon their people
Until the protection of its pillars shelter their tents

25. How can an equal observe his attributes?
For its lights and shadows are not the same

26. If the eloquent are counted, he is their orator
Or the noble their imam to guide

27. Or the princes their emir, their champion
Or the caliphs, he is their sword

28. O You, whose blessings have spread
Bestowing gifts, benefiting all people

29. The tongues of scholars cannot thank You enough
And their minds are perplexed in Your description

30. So to You, I secluded from all except You
To unveil before Your supremacy, her cover

31. She stood in service of Your high court, as
It’s her duty that her stand remains

32. Your supreme position among people is her statement
So praising You, her flags soared

33. She came with congratulations and delight
The best sending, may her words be sweet

34. So pour its goblets' sunshine, for long has
Her glass poured, her wine flowed

35. And may this happy Eid rejoice you, for the likes of it
Through you, flourish each year

36. A feast in which the jealous are slaughtered, more delicious
Than ritual slaughter of sacrifice sheep

37. So submit, for you are the Eid, not our festivals
For they are seasons, their days pass

38. Ascend the sphere of bliss and nobility
For congratulations begin and end with you
