1. With it comes glad tidings that revive and nurture
Us, while the nights do not oppress or overstep

2. With it good omens come, with fortune in ascent
The crescent of bliss rose in an auspicious birth

3. With it the voice of intimacy called out gladdening
The attainment of hopes and lasting success

4. To us came, from a generous honored house
Where glory after glory in procession tread

5. So excellent a house, with merit and piety
And how many a disciple did its guiding light envelop

6. It kept rising with nobility and renown
Until over eagle and panther it was manifest

7. So persist, O Ahmed, the people's praise
For you are, among the exalted, of Ahmad's lineage

8. We congratulate you on the blessed son, and strew
Sincere wishes, confirming affection

9. So persist, outpacing the full moon which rose
In the most noble abode, illuminated by its master

10. A station at the peak of glory which its advent
Gave the heavens pride, in the name of the Trustworthy, Mohammed
