1. When the full moon reached its perfection
You attained the most splendid rising, like the fullness of its perfection

2. O brother of the crescent, son of my brother Ghusn
Protector of the gazelle, son of the beauties of the gazelle

3. Who gently scents the breeze, who ornaments eloquence with kindness
Who exposes the full moon with its halo

4. By my father, from you is a branch of perfect stature
Languishing while the guide leads it its hopes

5. And a gazelle who has confused reason with wonder
May God better its state with beauty

6. A sovereign who ascended with the fortune of beauty
May God make His justice and moderation eternal

7. A Bay horse assailing my heart
What an excellent assailant, rising with justice

8. How can it be harsh when its charm is a gentle letter
Why does no inclination to me seize it

9. When it is said that is a conjunction of connection
I say who can attain its connection

10. By the beauty spot is the conjunction “and”, so why
Didn’t you conjoin one who showed affection eternally

11. Perhaps it will gather the cloak of companionship
It is for gathering, O desire of the heart taking its family

12. O branch whose night is the pure musk of beauty
The dawn showed us the wetness of its forehead

13. And beneath the bow of its eyebrows appeared
Arrows marking the letter “nun” with its arrows

14. And beauty recited from its virgins a verse
In which is a text, witness, and proof

15. And the critic has judged that I leave my passion
Shall I oppose its guidance, losing its direction?

16. It created separation for me, and the separation of that one
Is an innovation in the religion of passion and losing direction

17. How often I wished, O ransom of my life
You were listening before the blame and conversation

18. My patience is little, and separation from you is hateful
And by its increase I see its decrease

19. I sold my soul cheaply for your sake, so be gentle
With one whom your separation makes hope for comfort

20. O sovereign of beauty, my tears came to you
Asking, how do you not answer their question?

21. Lowering oneself in humility brings honor to the lover
For your sake when he elevates his state

22. What patience can withstand what I suffer
From the disgrace of passion constantly?

23. How passion debases proud people
While among us it possesses elevation and majesty

24. It would not matter if in the sanctuary of glory
Of the trustworthy Al ‘Ali it tied its belongings

25. The unique eminent one who honored a soul
And by it God ennobled its attributes

26. The commander whom we must absolutely obey
Whenever we see the imperative to comply to him

27. The commander who is the full moon in honor
May God honor the summit of his perfections

28. The forbearing one who is the sea in clemency
Whose fresh pure water has come to us as drink

29. The generous one who by the abundance of gifts
Spent his wealth to please God

30. An Aaribi, whenever we call the caller
To give from the clouds we hasten to seek him

31. He rained clouds and folded his two generous hands
So we thought it a constant downpour

32. May God protect him, he denied hopes
Though the delegates of hope frequented him

33. Those with a purpose alight at the door of bounty
He unlocked the doors of success before them

34. He protects the sanctuary of glories with the sword
Of firm resolve, where his word is true

35. Where is one from the sons of time who rivals
His words or deeds in probity?

36. None who strung the pearls of wisdom
Is like one who clothes himself in the garb of ignorance

37. Nor is one who humbly kisses the earth
Like one whose shoes touch the sky

38. Time was infertile after creating
A unique one, so eyes did not see his equal

39. So he among us is like the peerless jewel
Though time does not change his state

40. God clothed him in the garment of dignity
And pride, so pretentiousness did not hurt him

41. And he was given abundant eloquence over
Orators, he still trails their tails

42. He was granted complete wisdom, so he adorned
His neck with morality, enhancing his beauty

43. We trusted time in your name, O you whose name
Is the Trustworthy, so we see safety in its family

44. We were not hurt by the events of time, ever
Except you gave us relief from what pained us

45. Nor did time betray us with covered
Calamities, except you prevented its betrayal

46. So for you is God’s full moon of clemency and wisdom
For you is good fortune that nothing disturbs

47. My praise at your noble door now
Resembles virtuous words sending it forth

48. By my life, describing your noble qualities
Perplexes that the prohibitions grasp its like

49. It is not within capacity - and which noble one
Whose goal the impossible did not make narrow?

50. That did not appear except for you and has no peer
Returning, outshining the gazelle in coquetry

51. And beauty, watering with the light of gazelles
It came spreading joy from afar

52. Creating the best praise for this place with its words
Oh what a joyous celebration you rejoice in

53. Its prime with your elevation
Meet the Feast of Sacrifice for God however

54. The Sunna slaughtered it, sharpening its knives
Slaughter and sacrifice for you every enemy

55. And envier they are both allies of ignorance
So congratulations to you for attaining wishes

56. Every aspirant attained his hopes
These are our advance presents, for the

57. Shapes of their production still show us
And clear proofs of this bliss

58. Cut off whoever intends no connection to your protection
So remain and greet the course of time, full moon of might

59. That time does not suffer except for its perfection
And shine in the sky of elevation, sun of bounty

60. That the eyes of the envious do not see its loss
