1. Delight and joy and enduring might
Good fortune and prosperity and immortalized victory

2. And praise and success and glory and highness
And glad tidings and joys and happiness and blessings

3. Are for the one whom the most high says this of
Statements of truth and glorious deeds bear witness

4. For the one who among the ranks of the eminent is unique
Pride among his peers is his and singularity

5. For the one whose palm encompasses all virtues
While embracing wealth among them is diminished

6. For the one whom if glory and chivalry were to call
The virtues in him, pure of tail, would answer

7. A young man who does good not for praise
But his nature is righteousness and generosity

8. Wise in the states of people, well-mannered
Forbearing, enlightened by insight to guide

9. Plans of an intelligent and knowing one
Who establishes the building of the sublime and constructs

10. Brave resolve and powerful dominance
When facing a lion, formidable and thunderous

11. The peerless unique gem whose merits though numerous
In virtue while he is not numerous

12. A dear ideal not for scarcity of those
Whose knowledge progressed but the like of him is not found

13. August when you meet him you meet a horseman
Who faces a group with his might while alone

14. He assumed the sword of forbearance with wisdom and oft
Advice benefits what threats do not benefit

15. Of lofty position though below his limits
Above him an eagle, a star, and planets

16. His glory is clothed in the garments of praise
Though he is free of any blemish

17. Attributes that if they shed light on
A subservient slave he would straighten and become master

18. So to God what he glorifies, his care is not
For any gain but what immortalizes his mention

19. Dazzling, when darkness extends its porch
With his rising, the wanderers are guided and directed

20. His merits are signs of truth over mankind
When recited, minds nearly bow down in prostration

21. His morals in every east and west
News of enduring glory relayed and supported

22. A sword hoped for his pardon and feared for his might when sheathed
Before him enemies’ blood nearly

23. Flows and awe increases, freezing
Trained since youth with the discipline of horses

24. And assumed the burdens of sublimity while a teenager
An ally of piety from the Hashemite group

25. For it the purest allegiances are bound
Bracelets shining in every place

26. When hardships befell, the shining bracelets supported
My praise goes on when I count their merits

27. And falls short of fully enumerating
So O master whom fame has spread

28. Who the passionate and singers delight in
Your place above the two lights is of utmost height

29. So to where, still, do you rise and ascend?
I see the supreme state when you were its sword

30. Against the enemies it stood stripping for battle
Your love with the marks of glory never

31. Ceased as a sign of glory witnessed in friendship
It did not grant you power but rather

32. Through you power was honored to be granted
If you think me ignorant in my words, no wonder

33. A blind man cannot see the sun
No surprise if you were gentle with the envious

34. Water may quench blazing fire and extinguish
So say to the enemy: O confused one, die in your rage

35. Neither your life pure nor fate prosperous
With ignorance do the envious wish to deceive?

36. On their faces the water of disgrace oscillates
My poetry is too lofty to descend to their lows

37. Whenever the thought of them passes I sigh
My accord with them in the abode of righteousness is absolute

38. While my heart's burden for their injustice remains confined
If not for my observance of the neighbor's sanctity between us

39. I would leave them and dawn is as dark as night
With every generous one cloaked in glory

40. A generous gray stallion, stripped
I am the spear and arrow aimed at the enemy

41. Shield of glory and bare sword
I am but all I say I am

42. And say but some of what I know
In me a free soul not earth of lowliness

43. Except nearing ascent from ruin
Stalwartness that empowered so faced

44. From fate what cannot be endured with resilience
Challenges speak to me in darkness and alike

45. Awakening my resolve while negligents slumber
I am not one to complain of time but

46. Speak of it incidentally without intending
I indirectly criticized a group and

47. Do not care if the critic is displeased
Whoever is of the nature of the noble, I

48. Mean him in what I say and intend
Whoever is pure of heart, he is

49. Innocent while the ignorant fool babbles
Lo the one distant from the eye, I

50. See you in my heart wherever I check
If from me you are distant, you have encompassed

51. Merit, its description from you more distant
You continue to rise in rank after rank

52. Until the sun of dawn envies you
Congratulations. Lo the one entering the spring

53. For the thirst of wishes from it the watering place is scarce
I see you overjoy whenever the branches shake

54. As the nectar delights the warbling bird
We robed the days in garments of praise

55. And stood to renew congratulations
Possessed me to say: yours is the glad tidings

56. As the pigeons’ cooing possesses the one who announces good news
So I composed it a chaste ode and it articulated

57. In his praise, that I see people praising
It stood in thanks to God at the door of the glorious

58. Upon him the banner of victory remains bound
Your eyes, she nearly makes other brides renounce

59. A shapely date palm nurtured in the meadow of propriety
For her virtue is origin and determination the pillar

60. The daughter of one who mastered every verse jewels
And not all that is built of poetry is good

61. If Bilqis had seen of its structures
She would have said: a mansion paved of rubies

62. If recited one day to one hurt
By your absence we said: worry is dispelled

63. So ascend the ranks of might, O you whose name
For him a lineage in which adherence is completed

64. And trust in whom you hope when standing supplicating
Speaking of your mention: You we worship

65. For the one who gave Solomon his request
Will give you what you hope for, O Muhammed

66. So plunge into every sea and collect the pearls of praise
And return successful, for return is best
