So enjoy life and leave those who find fault.

2. Seize the chance to attain your wishes,
With constant joy, and abandon those who mock.

3. Enjoy the pleasures of life that you've longed for,
The eyes of the noble have aspired to this goal.

4. When the cups of joy circle around,
Be the pole around which the millstone turns.

5. How lovely is the garden of joy in full bloom!
The fragrant flower of happiness blows gently.

6. The jesting of bliss in the bosom of joy
Has cracked open the envious though he made no sound.

7. Nights whose moons have shone brightly
Bringing joy to the heart when they set out.

8. The soul attained the heights of meaning and gave
The spirit of purpose something to celebrate.

9. Cry out! The bird of joy has trilled!
The ages are drunk and cry out with elation.

10. Take hold of resolve and attain your wishes,
Submit to determination if difficulties arise.

11. And if time allows,
Seize the opportunity to hunt whatever presents itself.

12. Unfurl the flags of celebration over
The noble party when destiny calls.

13. Bestow the first fruits of celebration on the protector
Of the nobles, glory moves towards them.

14. They are the Ghandur family, patrons of piety,
The house of Fathallah, progeny of reconciliation.

15. Especially the sublime chief Mostafa,
Their glory, that respected leader.

16. Majid who surpassed his peers
In superior qualities, clearly apparent.

17. He was clothed in piety, wrapped in kindness,
Each of his descendants emulated him and succeeded.

18. The beauty of his deeds ascended
To a nobility that defied those who praised him.

19. O what a Majid, honouring the exalted
With justice in the scales, outweighing all.

20. Noble qualities that no one attained,
By God, except as profit.

21. How often their call removed our troubles,
Banishing affliction and relieving hardship.

22. At their noble door how often we recited
The verse of victory, an auspicious opening.

23. O honoured ones, congratulations!
God has granted you that which He has granted.

24. With the marriage of the brilliant moon
Whose beauty eclipsed the moons.

25. A moon, if the full moon glimpsed
Its face one dark night, it would shine brightly.

26. That is Saad al-Din, and the world with him too,
His name has proven true to its meaning.

27. Send him our eternal congratulations,
And may he always have cause for joy.

28. May this marriage be the best of unions,
With doors of blessings opened by God.
