1. The hardships have departed with the signs of wishes, and passed away,
And the light of joy appeared in the horizon of delight and vanished.

2. In the sky of Yemen a lamp of joy emerged,
Until its radiance illuminated our years and gave light.

3. O beauty of the rising lamp in its happiness!
The full moon borrowed its brilliance from it, and took on loan.

4. A birth of honor and prosperity, for whom will be
A long life of contentment from the Creator, with all pleasure.

5. God has decreed for us this joy, so hopes were aroused in us,
With what God ordained, containing this deity.

6. So O father, it brought you good news, so refresh
A soul, and delight an eye, and attain a purpose.

7. He will grow, God willing, in his essence,
In fortune, and be guarded from seeing disgrace.

8. O you who bring congratulations, when you go on Hajj to
The Sacred House, fulfilling what is ordained.

9. Set out among us with all joy, under flags
That signify success for the exemplar you emulated.

10. And grant from me affection to Muhammed, and give him
Sincere congratulations, and say: O best of those who walked purely,

11. Receive good news of joy to come, dated by
A lamp of bliss, at the peak of delight it gave light.
