2. So greetings of well-being to its wholesome adornment,
Saad, blessed with Saad al-Deen's company.

3. Two noble men, each reaching the heights
With excellence, proud of his peers.

4. Inheriting perfection from ancestors, for indeed,
Only the gentle inherit gentility from the world.

5. They are like the month of fasting, attributed to it,
And the year's best months are its Ramadan.

6. They excelled with the balance of guidance, and so stood out,
And the mind gladdens its Lord when tipping the scales.

7. Each embodied manly virtues when appearing
In the cheek's freshness, displaying our symbol for us.

8. So their chastity foretells happiness
That spring has come and times are good.

9. And if you look closely at them both
You date it as a garden with the scent of flowers.
