1. O you who comes seeking goodness,
You have attained glory with your arrival.

2. You had accustomed us to honor before,
And were generous and kind to us.

3. If you were absent from our sight and hearing,
You were still present to our hearts.

4. We watch the rising sun of your grace,
Though it reaches far in its course.

5. The sun never sets from our sight,
Lest those watching think it has returned.

6. So stay with honor and welcome, and be safe,
For God has forsaken the envious.
