He revived the dead passion of the chaste with greetings

2. And the caller of mankind called with the loved ones
Lo! Greetings upon joy! Greetings!

3. He brought us a radiant gathering and companionship
So he enlivened this gathering and home with greetings

4. And the cupbearer of wine brought moons for the repentants
He brought forth for us a shining moon, the sun of communion

5. And the one I love is infused with the softness of meaning
With soft meaning and brilliant attributes

6. I sacrifice myself for you, O my dear ransomed one
To what extent do you shun me for long?

7. Is it to me or to the slanderers that your aversion prays?
So who is worthier of its embers, roasted?

8. What makes the wine of your estrangement bitter to me
And the cup of your mouth’s pleasure sealed shut?

9. And I know your stature is lofty
So why do I see your glances debased?

10. And my pact is your glance is imperial
So why do I see it plebeian?

11. You were like your maternal uncle fragrant
So why has your mouth become like gems?

12. So come O revelers of life! Come!
To a feast and melodies, be vitalized!

13. It is as if joy has come close to us
So it represented the exemplar to debauchery

14. And the water of people's faces shone among us
So it became clear drafts among us

15. We quenched our thirst with it, and so we obtained
Ample, good, abundant drink

16. So if we shook the trunk of bliss
Ripe fruit would have fallen upon us

17. And the branches of joy resembled garlands
With flowers systematically arrayed as ornament

18. And its birds sang with musical delight
Privately inspiring us and openly rousing us

19. And the butler called to the abode of companionship
And the echo of his call remained vociferous

20. It purified the time of purity for us, and had it not been
For meeting loved ones, it would have been gloomy

21. I intended meeting Ahmad among those who tread to him
My praise of him was sweet smelling and ample

22. And Haydara who is qualified with glory and forbearance
And glory which adorned itself Hashimi

23. My brother Hazm, his aspirations are lofty
And determination below his goal multitudinous

24. And a disposition from the breeze of the meadow more sagacious
A fragrance, while it is the greenest, most intelligent

25. And manners whose merits are recited
So it kindles the goodly essence the most wise

26. And his perfect morals
So they made Hatim forgetful and counted him redundant

27. And the descriptions of his praise followed
So his position among us became most high

28. And the one whose traits are still worthy
As the sights have become unfamiliar

29. So if I enumerated his brilliance
My power would abandon me and become recalcitrant

30. So here I am, I know nothing but congratulations
Thus my life has remained comfortable and gratified

31. Lo, O group of loved ones, come drink
Return the cup of joy like a rushing river

32. Ha! We are free of toil, so is there one who
Would blame he among us who was naked?

33. For none deserves but toil
And none deserves but joy strongly

34. And we do not see wrong done to people
So the weak should not fear us as strong

35. Since we are, by the grace of God, a people
Who see the ways of guidance Ahmadi

36. So O son of the two most noble, unto you early
Your perfections shone, the most radiant

37. With your arrival the splendid, our loved ones congratulated
So they did not remain uninformed

38. So may you eternally remain mighty of people
And the opposite remain humiliated, disdained

39. And may your suns remain shining
And time with them not cease

40. The span of days, as long as glories live
