1. Deliver on my behalf to the virtuous meadows
A yearning that toys with the ardent soul

2. And for that living being, greet life for me
My bosom friend, send my regards from me

3. And on those melodies, meander
And witness those ingenious meanings

4. And recall my passion for your sanctum
O God protect him from all wickedness

5. How many friendly gatherings brought us together
While it overflowed with kindness and amiability

6. Blessed are the times of intimacy and clarity
That were unblemished and free of doubt

7. The dew of the rising sun adorned the meadows
With pearl necklaces on the flowers

8. Weaving the meadow green and other garments of silk
Making it appear like flowers blossoming

9. We thought it was lively eyes of narcissus
And branches whose hands the morning wind bent

10. Resembling the necks of fawns
And its birds sang until stirred with rapture

11. Articulating tunes though they don't speak Arabic
Expressing melodies in foreign tongues

12. Speaking eloquently in Arabic, so who
Taught the birds the foundations of Arabic?

13. The morning breezes gifted us
Scents of musk diffusing like ambergris

14. I wonder if the secret of passion was understood
It would be no surprise, for morning is the wise one

15. O quencher, a covenant has passed
With cups of conviviality and goblets of joy

16. If that covenant eludes us, it matters not
As long as the covenant of the Ring of Solomon remains

17. We are in the sanctuary of the Arab's son
Of dew, lord of generosity and fragrance

18. The source of fortune and aid, whose support
Is all-encompassing, and hands, generous

19. Our supreme elder whose virtue
Cannot be equaled in his greatness

20. He is the reviver of religion and life, and one
Who has attained nearness to the Exalted Being

21. Yearning for what is with his Creator
Turning away from the glitter of base life

22. Spreading the flags of knowledge in the world
Folding the mysteries of most sacred sciences

23. Plumbing their depths, gleaning
Their textual or rational pearls

24. Standing for God, not affected
By the criticism of any fool

25. And the openings he was distinguished with
From his Master, the Giver of Gifts

26. O excellent gifts of sublime essence
Expressed in brilliant spiritual states

27. A treasure of the unseen that was wrapped in mystery
Appearing to the eye through the magnificent essence

28. Revealing traces of wondrous secrets
Sourced through the Prophet's overflows

29. A sun of truth in the sky of realization rising
With the brilliance of intense luminosity

30. Every sincere and faithful soul continues
To draw light from its rays

31. Say to the protector of the sun of guidance
You are at the highest of celestial orbits

32. You are in the presence of a sanctity whose fragrance
Suffuses the intimate soul

33. A presence whose lights eliminate
The gloom that destroys the misguided soul

34. Manifesting through miracles that
Overflow from the transcendent unseen

35. The Kaaba of our hopes, which we've pledged to
And longing gallops towards it, every rider

36. The delegation descends upon the rule of benevolence
And acceptance greets the content soul

37. O what a presence in which is attainment
And which spends care generously

38. No supplicant calls upon God through it
Except that he attains the perfect and fulfilling

39. O God of the Throne, I call on You through it
The plea of the distressed in utter sincerity

40. Seeking relief from my worries and hardship
And attainment of a life of comfort and bliss

41. Inclusion in Your good pleasure, pardon
And triumph through hidden mercies

42. And provide victory and might to Islam
O Lord of creation

43. Especially my family, brethren and those
Who support me out of partisanship

44. And grant the Sultan reform through which
He may be guided to justice between the subjects

45. And upon the chosen one, best of creation
Progeny and companions, eternal prayers

46. And a salutation that concludes the breaths of morning
Sealed with the most intimate of exhalations
