1. I saw the full moon of nightfall in the bathhouse
Its black hair undone
١. رأيتُ في الحمام بدرَ الدُجى
وشعرُهُ الاسودُ محلولُ
2. They had cloaked it in the nightfall of its hair
And dotted the silver with pearls
٢. قد عمّموه بدجى شعره
وَنقَّطوا الفضّة باللولو
