1. The redness of his cheeks is no defect
Rather, it is the blood of the slain on swords
١. لَيسَ اِحمرارُ لحاظه عن علَّةٍ
لكن دمُ القَتلى على الأَسيافِ
2. They said his glance and his build are similar
And similar features are wonderfully poetic
٢. قالوا تشابَه طرفُه وَبنانُه
وَمن البَديع تشابُه الأَطرافِ
