1. The messenger came with good news
My eyes were delighted by his tidings

2. He said al-Husayn has come
So I said welcome o Husayn

3. Is he the one who attained glory
And nobility, with hands full

4. They said yes, he is the one
Who surpassed all creatures without doubt
