1. You owe God gratitude, you have fulfilled four,
None of the rest of mankind has them:
١. للَه درُّك قد أكملت أربعةٌ
ما هُنَّ في أَحَدٍ من سائر البَشَرِ
2. Honor is defiled and the soul fallen,
The face made of mud and the eye of stone.
٢. العِرضَ ممتهنٌ والنفس ساقطةٌ
والوجه من سَفَنٍ والعين من حَجَرِ
