While one part takes pride over another

وبعضُه يزهى على بعض
3. Its beauty was incomplete
The adornment of the earth imperfect
٣. ما كملت حتى بدا حسنه
ولا استتمت زينة الأرض
4. I almost died from his abandonment
It's the fate of the abandoned to perish
٤. قد كدتُ أن أقضي من هجره
وحُقَّ للمهجور أن يقضي
