1. For you, from my praise, are the flowers of a garden
That bloom with ideas like flags.
١. فَدونَكَ مِن مَدحي أَزاهِرَ رَوضَةٍ
تُشَقُّ مِنَ الأَفكارِ عَنها كَمائِمُ
2. I have strung together pearls, though my string is short,
And if I were to string the pearls of your nobility,
٢. نَظَمتُ بِها دُرّاً وَباعي مُقَصِّرٌ
وَلَو أَنَّني فيكَ الدَرارِيَ ناظِمُ
3. I would be the stringer of pearls.
Though the pilgrimage may erase my sins,
٣. لَئِن كانَ فَرضُ الحَجِّ يَمحو مَآثِمي
فَلُقياكَ حَجٌّ وَالخُطوبُ مَآثِمُ
4. To meet you is itself a pilgrimage and an erasing of sins.
Every request is sincere at your generosity
٤. فَكُلُّ اِقتِراحٍ عِندَ جودِكَ صادِقٌ
وَكُلُّ رَجاءٍ يَضمَنُ النُجحَ غارِمُ
