1. I congratulate Our Master on this auspicious day
His virtuous deeds have adorned it with beauty

2. A day the universe dressed in its finest garb
And brought out its hidden treasures to display

3. The sun entered its abode like Our Master's rising
Filling the horizon with radiant light

4. The scales of time were set right as though
Learning justice from him, enlightening the age

5. His kindness made the clouds weep with joy on earth
Driving away misery and poverty

6. He was robed in embroidered garments
As he clothes me in his glorious gifts

7. I dedicate to him this poem in his service
Standing guard over him with great devotion

8. It is no wonder I offer him a little
From the overflowing river of his grace

9. For I saw the cloud carrying its water
From the sea then feeding it a drop

10. You were thus open-handed to the kingdom
Smiling, welcoming, broad-chested

11. You continually shed your old garments
And dressed in its exquisite new arrays
