1. When I aim for something with peril ahead
Then make my opinion right in it and leave my blame

2. And do not advise any miracle in it
For advice is not supportive of the hero's determination

3. And aid me in my folly and in my reason
And share with me in my honey and in my bitterness

4. For if I achieve my desire then that is best for me
And if I meet my fate then that is most soothing for me
