1. God saw for me in what He sees for me, the hostility,
And it was against them, not me, though they exhausted adversity,

2. I reached the goal when I was patient and they were wrong,
The endeavors of men who missed the paths of guidance.

3. And he who desires what is inevitable, what can he do
With patience, whether the course be long or short?

4. And indeed He who gave generously and rewarded
First and favored last, will not leave me negligently.
