1. The spheres were weak in their beginnings,
With no planets within them.

2. The sun, which has not ceased
Revolving in its spheres, gave them value.

3. And its water foamed within it,
While earth settled in an abyss.

4. The sun remained for an era over the
Water and above the earth, it did not set.

5. Vapors arose from them both,
And its spheres began to solidify.

6. It originated its stars, wondrous
Minds that ordain its affairs.

7. And it formed the celestial bodies,
The despised and precious metals.

8. All this has one origin,
From it, the compositions they compiled.
