7. Through you the world submitted to its lord
And the plain and mountain complied

8. The branches of life bowed heavily
Burdened while the branch of faith is balanced

So the sovereign's fresh branch is picked

10. The enemies lusted for them, so they repelled them
Awake in their haste is respite

11. Like a flood, had it not been averted
And the night, had it not been shadows

12. And you routed the doubt of fate vengefully
From its ploy, so its calamities are subdued

13. Had your opinion seeped into the heels of the palm trees
No luxuriance or barrenness would have touched them

14. Or had your glow been for the gazelle
No shyness would have veiled the radiance of its brow

15. In every honor, however great
Through your good deed example is set

16. You shepherded the people with an inclusive opinion
With resolve, no fatigue or boredom

17. You watch when they are heedless and stay awake when
They sleep and you dream whenever they are ignorant

18. You who, without your extension
The paths of guidance wandered and the roads were ambiguous

19. In every doctrine from its creek
Are streams and from its views are flames

20. Affairs go according to his will
They almost ignite before the action

21. The eyelid of his envious one recoils
As if lined with fire

22. A face like the day of sobriety, smiling
And a hand like the blackest night, relaxed

23. Tattered in convention, outstretched
