1. I eulogize a date palm whose
Fruits are plucked with enthusiasm

2. Created from silver
Dipped in gold

3. With its melting it is watered but
Does not quench if undissolved

4. Neither does its sap flow beneath the soil
Nor is it laden with distress

5. Atop its head it bears
A pitcher made of gold

6. And its buds are cast
From its outpouring melt

7. Planted in a hall
Of wonderous sights to behold

8. Luminous and fiery
Resembling the falling stars

9. The troops of night recoil
From encountering its brilliant light
