1. The air is filled with life, it acts so strangely,
Its deeds are hidden and revealed unendingly,

2. From far and near its actions we can't see,
It has no color, yet takes on each color we perceive.

3. It inherits heat and dampness, no tax does it pay,
From it our water condenses, the earth makes its way.

4. To fire it's an intimate neighbor and close friend,
And with smoothness its foulness cannot offend.

5. With its gentleness, paradise is fresh and wet,
The tender branch is made verdant, no fear of decay beset.

6. Glory to our Creator, whose ingenious creation confounds the wise.
