1. They say the crown of kingship after his lethargy
Has become arrogant and taken over command and prohibition

2. So I said to them, do not envy him and see
The consequences of what the turns of fate will bring

3. It is as if I see him, and the sword takes his head
And his limbs are threaded in the necklace of death

4. Ask Allah to keep the minister, for he
Will one day carry him on a bier

5. On a bier no stallion mounts its mother
Relieved on its planks from the pressure of the grave

6. If he escapes him, and Allah fulfills His command
Then blind he wanders the mosques or recites the Quran
